What I implemented

  • Containerized the application, database, simulator, and observability services with Docker Compose.
  • Configured Nginx, HTTPS with Let’s Encrypt and Certbot, and DNS with Cloudflare proxying.
  • Added health checks, latency monitoring, Prometheus metrics, Grafana dashboards, and Loki/Promtail logging.
  • Built GitHub Actions validation for linting, tests, security checks, container builds, and Compose configuration.
  • Scheduled PostgreSQL backups to Amazon S3 with systemd timers and validated restoration procedures.

What I implemented

  • Provisioned EC2, security groups, variables, outputs, user-data bootstrap, and remote state integration with Terraform.
  • Dockerized the backend and frontend and deployed them with Docker Compose.
  • Built CI/CD stages for linting, tests, image builds, registry publishing, and Terraform-based deployment.
  • Integrated IAM instance profiles and CloudWatch monitoring without embedding long-lived access keys in the instance.
